Lady Bird v. It Comes At Night

Synopsis | Lady Bird (2017): A coming of age film, Christine โ€œLady Birdโ€ MacPherson is a high school senior from the โ€œwrong side of the tracks.โ€ She longs for adventure, sophistication, and opportunity, but finds none of that in her Sacramento Catholic high school. Lady Bird follows the title characterโ€™s senior year in high school, including her first romance, her participation in the school play, and most importantly, her applying to college.

Green Room v. The Spectacular Now

Synopsis | Green Room (2015): A band straying into a secluded part of the Pacific Northwest stumbles onto a horrific act of violence. Because they are the only witnesses, they become the targets of a terrifying gang of skinheads who want to make sure all the evidence is eliminated.
